An 18ct Gold, Ruby and Diamond Ring set with a central c. 5mm old cut surrounded by princess cuts, c. 18mm head, size J.75, c. 5.74g
From a deceased estate via a solicitor. From the details I have been given likely to have been designed and made in South Africa. The old cushion cut stone has some nibbles to the girdle and black dot to the culet as seen from the table. The other stones are contemporary to the ring and are a good colour and lustre. It is difficult to comment on clarity as they are quite dirty underneath, but under x10 they look to be of very good quality
